Gym and Pool Programs

Clinic or home based therapy is often combined with Pool or Gym programs to help you optimise your rehab and achieve your goals sooner. At Tendler Physiotherapy, we can attend these sessions with you to ensure you are safely set up and performing the right exercises. From then on, you may be able to transition to doing these programs independently or with a carer. 

Pool Programs

Usually we recommend hydrotherapy pools, however, if you feel they are too warm (approx 33-34 degrees), we can always find a more appropriate setting.

There are many benefits to doing therapy in the water, including:

Movement is made easier.

Allows people to relax more.

Balance is less of an issue.

People can stand for longer periods due to the weightless feeling in water.

Gym Programs

At Tendler Physiotherapy, we have a small gym set up with some basic equipment, including a treadmill. However, if you are after more advanced strengthening equipment, we can always find a more appropriate setting.
